Positive Thinking is a seven-day programme drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy, gratitude amplification and neuroplasticity research. Each day combines a five-minute lesson, a fifteen-minute practice and a brief journalling prompt. The total commitment is twenty to twenty-five minutes a day.

The methods are named: catching automatic negative thoughts, cognitive restructuring, gratitude amplification, growth-mindset reframing, belief root-cause analysis and habit anchoring. The work moves your default explanation of a setback over time.

Spot automatic negative thoughts. The lesson explains how negativity bias evolved for survival but now hinders well-being. In practice, you record every negative thought for fifteen minutes, label each as an ANT and write a counter-statement that reframes it constructively.

Thought Reframing Techniques.

The five steps of cognitive restructuring: identification, challenge, evidence gathering, alternative generation, reinforcement. You apply the framework to three real negative thoughts and practise speaking the replacements aloud.

Amplifying Gratitude.

Gratitude as a thinking tool. The lesson explains how gratitude engages the prefrontal cortex and dampens amygdala activation. You spend fifteen minutes writing a detailed gratitude letter to someone meaningful, then read it silently.

Reframing Challenges.

Growth-mindset strategies. The lesson introduces perspective-shifting questions: 'What's the lesson?' 'How will this help me?' You reflect on a recent setback, list three potential lessons and draft an action plan.

Building Self-Belief.

Override one limiting belief. The lesson covers belief root-cause analysis. You choose one limiting belief, trace its origin, write an evidence-based rebuttal and repeat the empowering statement aloud fifty times.

Letting Go of Negativity.

Mental decluttering. The lesson covers single-task meditation and mental note container techniques. You spend fifteen minutes in guided meditation, visualising intrusive thoughts being stored away.

Designing Your Ongoing Practice.

Consolidate lessons into a sustainable routine. The lesson explains habit anchoring. You draft a personalised weekly plan with at least three brief positive-thinking exercises and accountability checks.
